Melania Trump’s Christmas decorations, that have been disclosed earlier this week, have borne the brunt of numerous jokes. Now, “The Daily Show” has taken the joke one step farther in a video the series tweeted from its official Twitter accounts on Tuesday night, HuffPost reported Friday.

Together with the text “Merry Christmas OR DIE,” the tweet featured an edited video showing Melania’s Christmas decorations and clips, together with footage and sound of Donald Trump talking about Christmas spliced in.

The video is a joke and a critical glance at Trump’s participation in what Republicans were predicting the “War on Christmas.” The clips of the video in which Trump says “You are definitely going to be saying Merry Christmas again” mention what Trump viewpoints as a fight against “political correctness.”

This declaration concerning the vacation expression was created in  the Values Voter Summit, an event hosted by the Family Research Council on October 13, 2017.

“They don’t use the term ‘Christmas’ since it is not politically correct,” Trump said long before getting loud cheers and a standing ovation from a number of members of his audience because of his announcement that “We are saying Merry Christmas.”

After Melania showed off her Christmas ornaments, which most believed bizarre, edited and jokes photos made their way around the world wide web.

After the lights are all off, the White House hall is “among the scariest hallways in the Usa,”Gizmodo composed on Monday, comparing it to eerie scenes by the Harry Potter movies, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Get Out.

“The Daily Show” isn’t the first late night chat show to poke fun in Melania because of her decorating. Seth Meyers joked on “Late Night” past Thursday about Melania trying to escape White House, stating: “Pictures were published yesterday of first woman Melania Trump decorating the White House for the holidays, although I am not sure a rope ladder seems as a decoration”
